1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Dressyuh, operated by Ascention, handles personal information when you visit dressyuh.com, interact with the sample experience on this website, or use the Dressyuh virtual fitting feature in a participating Shopify store.
A participating retailer controls its store, customer relationship, product catalog, checkout, and order records. The retailer's privacy policy and Shopify's terms may also apply. If those policies differ from this one, each policy governs the service and information within its own scope.
2. The Dressyuh marketing website
The interactive experience on dressyuh.com is a visual demonstration. It uses sample images included with the website. It does not ask you to upload a photo, generate a live virtual fitting, create an account, or enter payment information.
The current marketing website does not use first-party analytics, advertising trackers, browser cookies, local storage, or session storage. Our hosting and security providers may automatically process basic request information such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested page, date, time, and security signals to deliver and protect the website.
3. The Shopify virtual fitting experience
When a shopper uses Dressyuh inside a participating store, the shopper chooses a photo and sees the store's garment presented as a virtual preview. The photo is prepared in the shopper's current browser tab. Dressyuh sends it for generation only after the shopper receives the applicable notice and gives explicit consent.
Dressyuh sends the selected photo and garment reference to FASHN LTD, our virtual try-on processing provider, as encoded image data. We ask FASHN to return the generated result as encoded image data. Dressyuh does not intentionally save the shopper's input photo or generated result in its own database.
Important: A photo may reveal a face, body, clothing, location details, or other sensitive context. Submit only a photo that you have the right and authority to use.
4. Information we process
Shopper content
The selected photo, the product image, and the generated preview are processed to provide the requested virtual fitting. The shopper photo and result are handled in the current browser session and by the generation provider as described in this policy.
Operational information
Dressyuh may keep limited operational records such as:
- hashed session, device, or network identifiers;
- store, product, and variant identifiers;
- provider job identifiers, status, timing, and credit usage;
- the consent policy version and consent time;
- feature usage events needed for limits, performance, and merchant reporting;
- merchant settings and retention choices; and
- encrypted Shopify installation credentials and related app records.
The Dressyuh try-on database is not designed to collect a shopper's name, email address, or phone number as part of the generation flow. A retailer or Shopify may process those details separately when the shopper browses, checks out, or contacts the store.
5. How we use information
We process information to:
- provide, display, and troubleshoot the requested virtual fitting;
- record consent and enforce usage or generation limits;
- protect the service from fraud, abuse, and technical attacks;
- measure service reliability and product-page outcomes for participating merchants;
- manage Shopify installations, merchant settings, and support requests;
- respond to valid privacy, legal, and regulatory requests; and
- improve service performance without training on shopper photos.
Dressyuh does not sell shopper personal information. We do not use shopper photos for cross-context behavioral advertising, and our processing arrangement restricts FASHN from using Dressyuh customer content to train or improve its models.
7. Retention and deletion
- Shopper photo and result: Dressyuh keeps them in the current browser session and does not intentionally persist them in its own database. FASHN may make generated output available for up to 60 minutes so the requested result can be retrieved.
- Operational metadata: A merchant may select a retention period of 30, 90, 180, or 365 days. The default is 90 days unless the merchant changes it.
- Shopify privacy audit receipts:Dressyuh may keep a limited record for up to 730 days to show that a required privacy request was received and handled. The record uses a keyed subject hash rather than retaining the shopper's direct identifier.
- App removal:Uninstalling the app clears active installation credentials. Shopify's required shop-redaction process deletes the store's remaining Dressyuh app data after the applicable waiting period.
We may retain information longer when required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or needed to investigate security incidents. We may keep information that has been aggregated or deidentified so it no longer identifies a person.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how your personal information is processed. You may also have a right to object, withdraw consent for future processing, or appeal a denied request. These rights may be subject to identity verification and legal exceptions.
If you used Dressyuh through a retailer's store, start with that retailer. The retailer is best positioned to identify your store interaction and can submit the required Shopify privacy request. Dressyuh supports Shopify's customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction workflows. You may also contact us directly at reach@ascention.group.
Do not email us a copy of your shopper photo unless we specifically ask for it as part of a secure support process.
9. Children
Dressyuh is not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 must not submit a photo or use the virtual fitting feature unless a parent or legal guardian provides the authorization required by law and the participating retailer supports that use. If we learn that we processed a child's personal information without the required permission, we will take reasonable steps to stop the processing and delete the information.
10. Security and international transfers
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information we process. These include encrypted installation credentials, limited retention, consent records, access controls, and provider agreements. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Dressyuh and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When required, we use contractual and organizational measures intended to support lawful international transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Dressyuh changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects a consent-based virtual fitting flow, we may require renewed consent before another generation.
12. Contact us
Contact us with privacy questions or requests. Please identify the retailer where you used Dressyuh and provide only the information needed for us to locate the relevant operational record.
